Thanksgiving
Randy had to work this Thanksgiving but I was able to drive to his fire station in Aikahi (Kailua) and have dinner with him and his crew! Unfortunately, I forgot to take any pictures but it felt good to spend part of that day together!
Health Update
It has been about a year at this point that I have been working with Tracy. I have learned so much and so many of my health issues have improved! This month I had my annual MRI for my pituitary tumor and it was the same size (4mm) as last year. However, just through my diet/lifestyle changes and herbs my last Prolactin blood test was 77.2 ng/mL (test done on 11/20/15). I started officially working with Tracy in December of 2014 so this represents about a year of my efforts. When I first got my Prolactin checked in September of 2014 it was 107 ng/mL. That is about a 30 point drop! Some people may think that is not a very big deal but for me it was a VERY big deal :)
I do feel like I could get it down to normal eventually (within a few years of hard work) but Randy and I are really wanting to start our family. We prayed about it and just didn't feel right waiting when I could simply take a pill and probably lower it pretty quick in order to get pregnant so that is what we decided to do. I met with my endocrinologist and officially started taking Bromocriptine (half of a 2.5 mg pill once a day) this month of the 30th. I still plan to eat as healthy as I can during this process.
