Mason and I finished out our trip in Blythe and came home to celebrate Mason's first birthday. We kept it simple with just our family. I'm pretty sure Ezra enjoyed Mason's birthday more than he did!

The kids dressed up as a fireman and dalmation for Halloween for our ward trunk or treat drive thru. We didn't expect to get to do any real trick or treating so we hung out with our friends and let the kids play when a bunch of the sweet aunties and uncles on the street came over and told us to come trick or treating to their houses. With no costumes on we walked down the street and were completely surprised by how many people wanted to pass out candy to the neighbor kids.
