Elise and Jonathan get hitched!
We had a lovely reception on the 11th in the Lucero's backyard and it was lovely! We traveled the next day (September 12th) to the Phoenix temple and were able to see them be sealed for all time and eternity. Afterwards we ate some amazing Italian food and sent the bride and groom on their way for the honeymoon ;)

Playing Tourist: Visiting the Intaglios
Randy may have been really excited to visit the Intaglios which are very close to Blythe. Randy was upset when he realized I had never told him about the Intaglios before in all the years we have been married and visited Blythe. I should have realized his history-loving self would have gone crazy over this. Well better late than never right?! My dad also took us to the main dam in Blythe and we saw a scorpion! |

Visiting family in Idaho and Utah
We were able to go visit Randy's family in Idaho for a few days before heading back to Hawaii. We had a blast going to the ranch, shooting guns (I may have gotten a slight bruise from the kick of the gun), having country-style breakfasts, watching Temple Grandin, laughing till we cry (more like Pam crying), visiting the cattle auction, and seeing Randy's nieces and nephews do their thing (science projects and cross country events). We even had the chance to stay with Davey one night in Salt Lake and go get sushi with the family. Kip and Brittany were able to join us and drove up from Provo.
