Family Road trip
Phoenix/CA to Utah
We knew visiting family would be a priority for us before Ezra turned two in December so we finally made it happen this month! We flew into Phoenix and saw my parents briefly before driving up to Utah that same night. We stayed at Kip and Brittany's new house for a few days. We took Ezra to the park a lot and he was able to play with his cousin Kade.

We also went to Davey's house and were able to watch Reggie's primary program and celebrate Kade's 1st birthday. The cousins were so sweet and helped Ezra ride the law mower, jump on the trampoline, and try out the skateboard. We also went to BYU and showed Ezra the Eyering Science center and I may have stopped for some graham canyon ice cream at the Creamery. Kip's hot tub was a a staple for us too! Russ and Sharon also invited us to visit them in Pleasant Grove. We even got to meet their new granddaughter Hannah (my cousin Spencer and Valerie's daughter).

Idaho Falls/Missoula/Moscow
Next was our drive to Idaho Falls which was made successful because of the song Little People by Les Miserables. We played it countless times to keep Ezra content. That night he had the rare chance to stay up till 10 baking with Grandma. The next day we drove to Missoula and swam in the indoor pool and hot tub to our hearts content. We finished the long drive to Moscow where Gary and Bridgette live with their 5 kids. Claire had her baptism and we were able to have fun with all the cousins going to parks, playing horse, watching soccer games, shooting pellet guns and celebrate our 6 year anniversary! We then drove back to IF and had a blast with Randy's parents going shooting, attending/dying Crossfit with Pam, and staying up till 3 am talking and laughing.

Grandma also took Ezra to the cattle auction, we played 5 Crowns, Wits &Wagers, and for his Halloween costume Randy went all out and designed Ezra the cutest Thor costume. I cannot tell you the love that went into making it! Although the design was simple, Jim cut the foam and made Ezra his hammer, Pam sewed certain pieces, Randy did the bulk of the work (planning/cutting) and I helped glue the hat (the easiest part). It was truly a team effort and he LOVED it and trick or treating at Aunt Sue and Jane's house. They were even sweet enough to give him healthy treats like fruit and toys.

The trip ended in Idaho with visiting our good friends Lezlie and Ethan Lee and Matt and Yvonne Anderson and all their kids. We had dinner at the Anderson's house and sat around after catching up and laughing.

Back to Blythe
We made the long trek back to Blythe to finish our trip with my family. We were able to attend church in my home ward and see everyone and I even got to visit a few of my friends from high school (Tawni, Jessica, and Amanda). We spent the time going on numerous walks on the canals, checking out the dam, eating good food, juicing, and my mom and did a 3 day raw reset since we had been partying so hard. For the flight home I flew back with Ezra by myself bc Randy had to fly back earlier for work. In total we got spend a month (10/18-11/15) with family and it was the perfect amount of time! I was ready to come back home at that point. I also lucked out BIG time because Ezra and I got a whole row to ourselves on the flight back even after they told me it was a sold out flight. #miracles

Happenings at Home
Landon arrived in Oahu for work and was able to come watch General Conference with us and go surfing a few times. We also had dinner with the Paddocks and after talking with her about pregnancy and kids I had this overwhelming calmness come over me about getting pregnant again and decided to relax and take a break from actively trying so hard. Ez and I did lots of play dates with friends to the Tbay swimming pool, parks, beach, etc. My friend Raye is leaving at the end of this year so we also planned some girls night in when Randy was at work. We've been surfing quite a bit together too.
