March/April 2022

The past few months have been such a precious time with our sweet baby girl. She is the easiest baby I've had. My mom came to visit for a week and was able to attend Summer's baby blessing. The dress Summer wore was the same dress I wore for my own baby blessing more than 33 years ago! Shoutout to my mom for saving the dress.

We did a lot this Easter with hosting an Easter egg decorating day and an Easter egg hunt with friends. I can't get over having a space of our very own to have loved ones over. This is something I have always dreamed about since I was pretty young and now it's happening! Also, Randy built an epic "pirate ship" for the kids complete with a swing. He even took the time to add a wheel, spyglass, and pirate flag. If asked where we live that is the landmark I frequently give. "Look for the pirate flag."

Oh and we have guinea pigs. I am not a big pet person simply because there are plenty of needs to take care of with three kids. However, this sweet couple offered them to us at their garage sale for free and mentioned how they were very low maintenance. I was surprised Randy was more on board than I was but after some pleading from the boys we said yes. We have kept them alive so far and they seem to enjoy the backyard.
