The Saunders Meet Ezra!

Randy's parents and his brother, Davey, and his kids came to party with us and meet Ezra for the first time! He is the 19th grandchild on the Saunders side of the family. We had so much fun together. Wendy drove down from Mililani with her little ones and we all got to spend time together going on hikes, swimming/boogie boarding at the beach, eating out, and just enjoying each other's company.

Ezra was blessed by Randy in church on February 5th in our Sunset Branch. In the circle was Jim and Davey Saunders, Jacob McMillan, Jeremy Daniel, Jeremy Hanks, Brett and Ethan Lee, Zach Kopp, Brother Weber, Beau, Tallon Boles and Jake Coleman. Pam was so sweet and picked out the cutest onesie for Ezra. After his blessing we took pictures together at the temple.

Other Happenings

Was able to go on a walk with my good friend, Alex, who just had her baby girl last month. We also went to Costco together with our babies. I was a little nervous because it was my first time shopping with Ezra but it was actually really easy with the Ergo carrier. He loved looking at all the people and stuff.

Randy and I went to a wedding for one of his fire classmates and it was definitely the fanciest wedding I have ever been too! It was so beautiful and the food was to die for. We took Ezra and he did really well with nursing.

A big deal thing happened to me! I officially surfed a REAL REAL wave!! It was such a different feeling from the waves I have surfed before. I actually felt the drop down. I was sort of scared out of my mind (I am naturally a pretty big wuss when it comes to testing my limits in this way). This was at Gas Chambers on a very small day. I couldn't believe I caught a wave there and was stoked out of my mind for the rest of the day!

Baby Update

Ezra is growing like a weed! Many people have remarked on how fast he is growing and how strong his head/neck are. He sleeps through the night and has for quite a while now. I just broke in our Ergo Carrier and he has been doing really well in it for walks. He also likes when we read him Chika Chika Boom Boom and Hand, Hand Fingers, Thumb. He seems to really enjoy his baths--this is probably when he laughs the most. He also laughs when we are changing his onesie--not exactly sure why. Ha!
