I can't believe that Summer is 1! It truly has gone slow and fast all at once. She is such a happy girl and we are incredibly grateful for her cheerful little self! The whole family dotes on her but especially her brothers. They are a little rough with their hugs and kisses but they are slowly learning to be gentle with our sweet Summer girl.
This month I took the kids to the Foster Botanical Garden in town for the first time and we loved it! They have a butterfly garden and in the greenhouse, they have a beautiful, variegated banana tree. The boys were amazed with how tall and wide some of the trees are. It felt like a maze in different areas which was fun for the boys too.
We've been logging in plenty of outdoor time with going to the beach park, fishing, making pea boats when it rains, and many walks and backyard time. Ezra received a wood working set for Christmas and began saying he wanted to carpen (do his wood working). It is much harder than we anticipated so I need to learn more to help him along.
